It's Saturday Night and I have been inspired to blog.

I am building some pieces for the Miniature
show and I will post them soon. 

I have been taking pictures everyday on my way to work since May 2011.

After talking with Lily I am going to start sharing the photos daily.

Holiday Madness

With
the holidays behind and a new year ahead, I can now post what I have been up to
without wrecking any Surprises.

I
created the following pair of earrings and 3 pair of slippers.

 

            

             

             




During
the holidays I was asked what kinds of pictures am I taking for the photo a day
project. It was then that I realized I was just shooting whatever struck me as
interesting. I failed miserably to make the project sound interesting, instead
it sounded as if I was photographing tree bark and park benches.  I have included a few of the shots taken over

Holiday Sale!

The Mountsfield Public school Holiday Sale is happening tomorrow night from 4-9pm. I will be there as a vendor selling a selection of our paper jewellery along with a few new accessories. Come out and find some great unique gifts! 

I made a couple more light plate faces.

     
 

Recently I became inspired to take a picture a day and it has been fun capturing different images. Here is a few.

       

I have been continuing to work with more paper and seeing what I can make, I’ll post the results soon.

 

 

 

Gardening new ideas

I have been busy away from the blog, but not idle; if you recall I made reference to working in our garden well it has dominated a lot of my time. The beauty  is that now we are seeing all the fresh fruits and veg grow. The strawberries and radishes were first and now we are starting to see a large crop of Kale……I think Lily and I might be the only ones happy about that.

 

Aside from the gardening I have been working on a few smaller projects, adding a little life to the mundane.

 

This piece was inspired after the work we did for ‘Books to Eat’ I really enjoyed playing with the paper and I just wanted to see what I could create. 

    

New postcards

It has been a while since I sent out postcards via postcrossing.com, so I decided to send out a few at the same time. These are going (in order of posted pictures) to Germany; Ohio, US; The Netherlands; China; and the Republic of Belarus. Hopefully they all reach their destinations in a timely manner and are enjoyed.
